
Heidi attended Queens University, where she graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy degree in 2007 after completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics at the University of Ottawa in 2005.
Heidi has worked in a variety of settings, including hospital-based physiotherapy on various units such as surgery, medicine, vascular, respirology, trauma, rehabilitation and oncology. Having also worked in private outpatient clinics and long term care facilities, she brings with her a multifaceted perspective to treatment. She has a particular interest in complex orthopaedics, post-surgical conditions, and geriatric care - including, but not limited to, falls prevention.
Heidi has an extensive knowledge of the human musculoskeletal system, manual therapy, and exercise prescription. With this, coupled with a desire for continuous learning and evolving of her skills, Heidi consistently merges the most recent evidence-based practices with her experience, in order to enable her clients to meet their mobility goals.
In her spare time, Heidi enjoys yoga, circuit training, gardening and practicing mindfulness and meditation. On weekends, you’ll find her enjoying time with her dogs, husband, family and friends.
