Her caseload allows her to provide quality care to patients with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal cord injury, as well as geriatrics. She also works with the orthopedic population at both the Woodroffe and Wellington locations. Additional professional training includes soft tissue release techniques, acupuncture, manual therapy level 1 and LSVT BIG. She has also attended workshops about the assessment and treatment of stroke patients.
Her goal as a physiotherapist is to help individuals regain confidence in their abilities and ultimately improve their quality of life. She is also dedicated to provide compassionate patient-centered care.
Amara is fluent in both French and English.
In her spare time, Amara likes to play volleyball and enjoys arts and crafts.
