Amara's caseload allows her to provide quality care to patients with Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal cord injury, as well as geriatrics. Additional professional training includes soft tissue release techniques, acupuncture, and manual therapy level 1. She is also an LSVT BIG therapist as well as certified in Neuro-Developmental Treatment, which is a treatment approach to treat individuals with stroke or acquired brain injury. She has also attended workshops about the assessment and treatment of stroke patients.
Her goal as a physiotherapist is to help individuals regain confidence in their abilities and ultimately improve their quality of life. She is also dedicated to provide compassionate patient-centered care.
Amara is fluent in both French and English.
